Federal Income Tax Brackets for 2025 and 2026

Updated October 16, 2026 · maintained, not published once

Which rate applies to which slice of your taxable income, for every filing status. The rate applies only to the income inside each range, not to all of your income. Kept current: 2027 figures are added when the IRS publishes them, usually in October or November.

From IRS Revenue Procedure 2025-32. Ranges are taxable income, after deductions. The IRS brackets page still shows 2025; these are the official 2026 figures it will carry.
